But Memories Always Remain.

Grown up to this extent
I oft'n put away from the Memory
That, I was brought up among common children
Of various heights and colors
Some tall and short
Had different mentalities and varied nature
I did play and laugh frantically
But Memories Always Remain.

Many became friends of Mine
Some turned foes with pretence as friends
And tried to trap me in some cases
Made me scapegoat and kept firing at back
And few friends of mine
Always showed path to overcome
And built passion within me when I get numb
But Memories Always Remain.

Everybody did take proper care of Mine
For being only child to my parents
taught to live delicate and arduous life
And to adjust and prevail in every situation
Sometimes I do hate the word most
Adjust... Adjust... Adjust...
I did obey their words
But Memories Always Remain.

Shifted from place to place
From Baripada to Cuttack
In amidst I've seen other places
I did change Schools and Colleges
From St.Annes' and Vimala Convent
To that of Ravenshaw and M.S.Law College
Which seemed to be Paradise of Mine
But Memories Always Remain.

I did study about Hiroshima and Nagasaki
Learned about Israel and Palestine
And some sombre attacks and havoc
May it be Kashmir, Afghanistan or Mumbai
Terrorists everywhere prevail
From sea to land and air
At every corners of the World
But Memories Always Remain.

"SPIRAL" The Rocking Group.

Spiral ! Spiral ! Spiral !
All here in are Exceptional
Together making their own Bases
Solving all their Cases

                 Swotting for luminous future
Imprinting in their Mind elder's Lectures
Move further and further in crooked ways
Walking hand in hand out of cages

Roving about shouting and gigling by
Under the trim bluish sky
At times in sultry noon
Getting hurry to go back home soon.

                 "Spiral" gang is bindaas
When they fly over and pass
With sudden sound of vehicle horns
Which breaks the tranquility the backfield earns.
